Salary: £32,500.00 to £40,000.00 /year

My Client is looking for a Senior or Managing Recruitment Consultant (contract or perm) who’s got experience from within the Construction & Property sector or previous experience working in a similar sector to take over the day to day management of a small but established team as Divisional Manager.

You will contribute to the growth of the operation by working alongside the Branch Manager, helping to grow the business by being on hand to develop the existing team through Staff Training, Business Development & Networking. This position is not all about billing on your own desk but more about helping to grow the business and develop people.

What Will You Be Doing

As an experienced Recruiter you will have full control of developing new and established business throughout Yorkshire while helping to develop a small team around you. You will be focusing on business development with new and existing clients by the way of networking, cold calling & client visits, along with regular advertising to attract new candidates for your team using various means such as job boards, job centres, websites and social media. You will map out and target your region to benefit your team, ensuring budgets, KPI’s and client needs are met.

A large proportion of the role requires regular client visits and candidate screening to determine if candidates are suitable. You will ensure the resourcing team & recruiters keep the company database along with candidate and client records up to date, offering a fully legal and compliant service in line with company policies and procedures.

The Right Candidate For Us

As a Recruiter you must be experienced in winning at all levels, you will be professional, self motivated, punctual, ambitious and able to build strong, long lasting relationships. To be considered for this role you must have previous & proven experience of working to budget and developing your own business, you will ideally be a Senior, Managing or Principal Recruitment Consultant in your current position and preferably have experience of developing others within a team – although applications from experienced recruiters wanting to develop further will also be considered.

Ideally my client would like an individual with knowledge of construction and property recruitment, preferably someone who knows the New Build Housing, Main Contractors, Architecture & Design, Structural / Civil Engineering or Retail Fitout sectors (applications from other specialist sectors will be considered) This is a fast paced and challenging role that requires a someone who’s not afraid to put the effort in, but the rewards and scope for progression are excellent!
